Programme
We've included an indicative timetable for our wedding weekend below.
Friday 20th August 2010
- We will assist with transport from Frankfurt am Main airport to Fritzlar hotels, either by making sure guests get on the correct train or by arranging pick-ups (this will be finalised once we have people’s flight details)
- 18:45pm - Transport from Fritzlar hotels to Roland’s parents house
- 19:00pm - Barbecue - 13, Uber den Bergen, Fritzlar
- 22:00pm - Transport back to hotels.
The barbecue at Roland’s parents house on the Friday evening (from 7pm) is very informal - just an opportunity for those who are already around to meet up for drinks and get to know each other.
Saturday 21 August 2010
- In the morning people are welcome to wander round Fritzlar town, sleep in, relax etc
- 14:30 pm - Transport from hotels to the church
- 15:00pm - Wedding Ceremony - Fraumünsterkirche, Fritzlar
- 16:30pm - Transport from church to Schloss Garvensburg
- 17:00pm - 18:30 pm - Photos and ‘Kaffee und Kuchen’ on the terrace
- 19:00 pm - 01:00am - Wedding Reception
- 01:00am - Transport from Schloss Garvensburg back to hotels
If you intend to arrive on Saturday morning please bear in mind that we won’t be able to pick you up from the airport but can advise on the best transport alternatives. Please allow at least three hours to get from Frankfurt Airport to the venue (by car/train).
Sunday 22nd August 2010
- Transport from Fritzlar to Frankfurt am Main airport (this will be finalised once we have people’s flight details).
Roland and I are around all day on the Sunday for anyone who wants to hang out, and we plan to head back to Senegal on Monday 23rd August.
